What is a Mechanical Product and System Design Engineer ?

 

Are you an Engineer or a Designer ? Is a question I get a lot when they ask me what I studied... In a way I am both . As a Mechanical Product and System Design Engineer I will take into account both the practical/mechanical part as well as the aesthetic part, when I create a product or a system. Questions  like: Will it actually work? Will the user like it ? Is this following the current trends? etc , are a few of the question I need to answer when I create something.
